wow what a weekend.  I finally went snowboarding after 15 years and wow, I not a noob but i am very rusty at it.  I enjoyed about 10.5hrs last weekend.  I went up from 9pm Saturday  night and come back sunday night at 7pm.

best part of the weekend was winning a brand new snowboard and a bunch of snowboarding gear.  I was  talking my my two friends that were up there watching the hockey game.  I try to get them to go snowboarding and then I explained to them how i need to buy my own snowboard next year and get back into the sport.  my friends left cause the didnt want to stay past 11:30 so they could catch their bus.  I finished my drink notice one of my friend left her change purse on the ground so i quickly called her before she got on the tram down and gave it to her.  Then ask the server if they had poutine?  he told me they didnt up in the lounge but in down stairs they did.  so i went down stair to the normally bristo and order a poutine.

I had just  ate a poutine I need to go to the restroom and also check on my rental  board outside.  I guess I was lucky.  I walk by a Dcshoe display and there was a hurricane machine with a sign saying next draw at 12am,  I looked at the time and it was 11:50pm.  I figure why not enter I could win something.  then i notice they had a snowboard on the wall as one of the prizes so i asked the guy how do i win that. he told me that if my name gets drawing i get to goto the hurricane machine and try and get the golden bill to win that. i figure ok i will enter i got everything to gain if i my name gets picked.  I told myself that the board was going to be mine.  so 12am comes around and the guy starts drawing names out.  they needed 5people to go try.  the first 4 were these little kids that where at the very front.  i though to myself i really need to win the snowboard. after he draw about 5 more names of people that had left he gave the kids upfront the box to draw names out.   about 4 names after one kid pulled out my name   i told him i was here and he ask for proof that it was me?  I showed him my member pass and he said good.  they started in the order of the names that was drawn.   first 4 people all missed the bill but manage to get a bunch of the 5 and 20 bills (they where fake money monoply) the most was that one little girl she got $185.

ok my turned.  I was nervous and wanted to win so bad i just focus and told myself the goal is the golden bill. .  I went into the machine and he started it. i was fixated on that golden bill and grabing any thing that came up.  i manage to get a pile and put it in my pocket and then i saw a big pile and try for it and missed!   but by missing that pile i ended up grabing a really small pile and then I notices everyone outside watching was going crazy and pointing at me and all i heard was he got it.  I looked at my hand and saw a part of a golden bill in it. so i grip it really hard and use my other hand to get the rest of the bills flying.

when the machine stop i came out with two handful of paper money and one pocket full. first i put down the pile with the golden bill and the guy told me i won a snowboard. then i unloaded my other and and empty my pocket as well.  he totalled everything up and say i have $165 for prize plus that golden for snowboard.

they let me pick a snowboard and  a backpack then fill it up with stuff.  I got boots, pants, hats, shirts and a board.  the jacket didnt fit so i ddint take one. I figure good win and thank everyone there for all there support. I had a entire crowd cheering.  I walk over to customer service and ask for a bag check to store my baord and everything else.  it was $5 which i was fine with.

I figure i should get apair of goggles as well.  so i went to the outlet store and ask what was on sale this hour. sure enough it was goggles at 30% off the mark price.  i figure ok go get a pair of cheap ones so i can wear them over my glasses and its all good. so i found pair for $39.99 and they fit. after paying for it i was given a paper for a draw becusae i had spent over $30 there. i was like ok lucky  me i might win that too. so i enter and went on with my snowboarding.

after about 3 hours of being on the slopes ai figure go inside have something to drink and relax.  i sat down and started checking twitter for the contest draw from the outlet store. they annouce winings on twitter.  i started t ocheck there timeline and saw myname as a winner of a brand new pair of goggles.  i went to pick it up and it was a pair of spy+ they are worth $90.  I was so happy that i won!  I then went back to snowboarding and then got tired about 4:30 and it was to foggy out side.  I came in and relax for a few hours then about 9am i took a nap on the couch until about 11:30am then i went back out until 6pm and decided it was time to go home.

I took all my gear with me on the bus and went home. it was so much stuff but awesome!

Well its been a while since I had blog about anything.  I just been busy with so much that I had not time to write.  Now on to the reason why I found it important to blog about what had just happen this wee early morning.  Do we live in a world were no one cares about anything anymore?  Has some Vancouverites become so selfish that they can’t spare two minutes to help someone who has fallen or hurt themselves?

After work I had taken the bus towards my house.  I had  got off the bus and started walking towards my block.  I Had pass the busy A20 pizza shop on Main ST and proceed down Georgia ST.  As I walked down the street a women had just left the escort  agency from the office building which the pizza shop is under and walked towards grey car(her personal  driver was waiting) that was parked on the opposite side of the block right by the alley.  As she walked across the street towards the car, there was a male about 5,7 wearing nothing more than an orange T-shirt and what look like jeans walking down that same part of the block.  Its less then 2 degrees out and 2am in the morning.

All of the sudden he face planted on the ground, I heard his head hit the ground it was so loud that I heard it though my music and my headphones.  I pause for a second to see if the women was going to help.  then I saw a black BMW pulled into the alley entrance and had stop.  I figure either the women or the person driving the BMW would help the fellow, So I kept walking. about less than half  of the way down the block I saw the grey car with the escort pass me slowly.  They were probably  checking a map to find their next client location.

I turned around to look back to see if the BMW was still there and it drove off as I turned.  I quickly cross the street and look down to see if the person was still on the floor?  As I walked towards the were the person had fallen I notice what look like a person on the ground still.  I started to get worry because of how cold it is out and maybe he was left in the freezing cold.  I  approach the person and  notice a pool of blood on the floor right were his head was and he was some what conscious.  I ask him if he was still awake and told him I was going to call the Ambulance.  I called 911 and got a hold of them.  The dispatch told transfer me to them. so I told them what had happen.  they then told me to get the person age,  check to see if he still awake.  I ask him and i notice the smell of beer on him. I ask him if he was intoxicated?  The person responded yes he intoxicated.

As I was waiting for the Ambulance to arrive the London pub on the corner had just closed up and people were leaving.  a  few good people walked over and saw him on the floor and ask what happen and wanted to call the paramedics. I had told them that I had called and they are on their way.  A police car had passed and the officer didn’t even notice the 5 of us that was standing there.   finally we heard the sirens going so we all knew the ambulance was near.  The people and I had a bit of relief with the sound of the siren getting closer.  When the search and rescue got there they started to check the person and deal with him.  I notice he had a big cut on his head from hitting the ground. It was right across his forehead about 2 IN.  The pool of blood was about 1/4 of the litre on the floor and started to freeze already.  The paramedics brought out the stretcher and place him on it after they cover up the big gash on his head. they started asking him question about what happen and if he drunk?

The paramedics said he will be OK. they said he a regular.  They told me that thankfully I was there because If i wasn’t he could have frozen to death in the cold. I explained to him that there was other people here but I though they calleD! They didn’t care to call and just left him there so I came back over to call them. check and found the person here still! The women that was part of the group of people who came over from the pub thanked me as well and said the same thing the paramedic said about how he could have frozen to death out here.  I told them I was worried when i notice no one was helping him.  The paramedic said we can all go now and thank me.

My thoughts on this!
Thank fully I looked back and wanted to make sure someone was helping him!  I can’t believe the women that watch it happen and walked right pass him didn’t help him!  The person in the BMW was probably the  drug dealer that was meeting the women that was going to the car.  But come on the women could have taken 20 second to call a paramedic. The drug dealer well he could have as well. but no he just sat in the alley way with his car and watch the guy bleeding out of his forehead most likely.

I don’t care what your job or deal is It only take 20 second to call the paramedics and wait 5 mins for them to show up!  Some people just don’t care for other! even when they are in need of help right in front of them.

I wish I could write about how wonder the people and the city is but as of right now I cant!

What a sick city I live in!

I am finally getting back to bikram yoga. My trip was well planed out but it seem the delay only makes me as fast as the bus can travel. The race to the studio is becoming an epic race on time and all on acccount of traffic flow! My class starts in 7min yet I still need to walk 2min when I get off the bus plus I need to go one more stop. I hope there r no more red light! But as the bus slows I relize its a red light!
In my mind I think to myself quick light change and process to the next stop! But again a red light has put the bus at a stop! monuments pass and I make it to the second to the last stop. Come on one more red one more stop I think to myself am I going to make it on time maybe I will walk in as the class starts. Then I think to myself writing this help pas the wait time but I better get off my blackberry and get ready to leave the bus!

Its heen so many years since I been up to whistler. I don’t know what to so when I get there? So many options! I wonder of I going to snow board up there? I hope so but my ankle is still messed up. O well we will have to see by the time this bus gets up there. Until then blog out.

Updated match 26, 2011 19:35 : I finally made it there and it was nice it wasn’t raining or to cold. It was just perfect. I enjoy the day by having wine and going around and them going to the old spaghetti factory for they ny steak. After that I went around to check out a few other place before returning to Vancouver. I wish I could have gone snow boarding, but I will have to wait until my ankles heal first.

As I lay here with the moon watching me though my window, I’m blogging on my phone from my new place.
I decided to spend the night here instead of my old place, that and my mattress is here.

This place seems cozy for a empty place. I spent all day moving stuff here and had gotten help from some of my good friends.
There is still so much to do at the old place. its to clutter to focus on anything. Maybe this strange new place that I will call home for a bit, will help peace my mind and give me the focus I need to get this tough task of sorting and moving done soon.

I think I really need a vacation from Vancouver and my place just to rejuvenate my body and mind!

hmm. so much has happened since I blog last! I dont even know where to start?

well had an awesome birthday party for my big 30.

I am moving a over one block and have lots of packing to do. ( I really hope I get this done but there is just so much stuff)

I sprang my ankle a two weeks ago really badly. its still hurts but its heal mostly. I went to the Chinese herbal doc and got a quick fix(well 9days of meds on my foot).

I am going to pick up an awesome high end video card today or tomorrow. sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2GB model.

I been really lazy lately! I don’t know I been sleeping late and waking up really late like noon or even 2 or 3pm. I guess its from late night gaming of battlefield:bad company2 on-line.

if there is anything else I have forgot to mention I will later when i do a full blog. bye for now

well its Chinese new year. the time where most Asia couture celebrate the coming of a new year of the moon calender.  its also my Chinese Lunar birthday sweet because on the Feb 5th its my Gregorian calendar birthday.  well that means i get a 4 day party sweet

Today I went the the Canadian mint on Granville street in Vancouver and got my free year of the rabbit medallion which you press yourself on site when you get there. check out the photos.  I even held a piece of gold wroth over $500,000.00 it was sweet other then the fact it was held to a big chain and guarded by a undercover police office.

over the pass few weeks the world been witness to a bunch of worldly changing events.

there was that massive airport bombing in Russia that killed many people too.

in the more recent two weeks there had been a huge government  regime change due to massive protest that broke out in Tunisia’s and now Egypt is facing the same fate.
china already worry it will face the same fate has already started blocking out data and info about whats going on in Egypt.  Will china face the same fate with there Government??

in Canada we have a huge petition going on about internet company charging for over usages.  I really hope it get back to unlimited

what is going on in the world?  Is this a sign of things to come?  will other dictatorship country fellow the fate of Tunisia and Egypt? will the world really spill into darkness and chaos or will it change to world peace and unity???

only time will tell.  I just hope it will be for the better of humanity!!

my awesome way to start off 2011.  it all started on dec 30, 2010 when i got a call from ncix.com about a rma technician i applied for.  after about 25mins on the phone i pass the phone interview.  they wanted me to come in on new years eve for an interview.  I was so happy.

dec 31, 2010 ok so it’s about 1pm my interview starts at 3pm, I figure I would get there early and get my questions all ready and go over in my head how the interview is going to be awesome and i going to ace it and get the job.  so after finding the best route there I made down there about 30min early.  I was worried that it would be odd if I show up about 30 mins early so i went around the business complex that the head office was in while trying to keep warm because it was -1 out at 2 pm lol.   I had written some question down so I wont forget  em because I might be nervous when it came turn for me to ask my questions.

2;45 pm i made my way there and got there about 10min early and waited for my interviewer to come down.  I saw an old student i knew from cdi college and was chatting with him for a few mins, after about 20mins of waiting he come down and we kick off the first part of the interview.  after that it went really well so he gave me a work proportionality index survey.  after that he wanted me to meet the human resource manager.  when i met Ryan we sat there while he was trying to print off my resume but was having problems with his computer.  I lucky had made an extra copy of my resume for them and gave it to him.  he read it and was like o you do p90x how do you like it and that was how a short meet interview turn into a 30min long friendly chat about p90x and their diet plans.  it was awesome we kick it off,  he was so impress he went to talk to  brain (the one who was interview me first) about 20min had passed and brain comes back to the room with a application for employment and was going to get me to fill it out. sweet! he gave me a tour of my new work area and meet my co-workers. then he let me fill out the app. So after filling out one app he comes back with a second one and this one had said do i have criminal record for which i had not been pardon for.   i said yes and wrote please see record sheet.  I lucky had went to the police station about a few months ago to get my record so i can just give it to the employer so it saves them time and effort to find out what i did.  i said he can make a copy of it.  after that he came back and ask me about my record and i sat there i told him the truth about it and how i am a changed person and i know i will have to earn my way trust in this world and i am willing to do what ever it takes to get it.  he said ok that good he said the only thing that they will do is limit my access to the where house which is fine with me.  I am so happy the interview too over 3 hours but it was well wroth it.  what a way to end 2010 and start 2011 with a new and awesome job.

jan 3, 2011 I’ve been getting ready for the last 3 days now i am so sigh about this job and cant wait to start tomorrow.  I hope i learn lots of new things and improve on the skills i already have and make lots of new friends and meets lots of new people.

2011 this is my year and my decade.
